Starting times for Pastimes Events

What is everyone's thoughts on moving up the starting times for Pastimes Events? As is, Yugioh Regionals and WoW Regionals normally start registration at 10am and the event starts at 11am. Who would be opposed to start registration at 9am and the event starts at 10am. Yugioh and WoW pre-releases would continue with their normal starting time of 9am.

Chris so far the wow pre-released have started at 11am. As far as moving things up last time we talked about it at the regionals in June we had in Indy I got some yes's and some no's from the wow players . I did get more no's and yes's thoe. I think this next event we have on the 26th would be a better time to ask, cause im expecting a better turnout with most of the regulars attending.

I don't have a problem moving YGO regionals to a 10am starting time, however, I don't plan on getting up any earlier either! What that pans out to is that I'm on site about 8:45 and reg. starts at 9am. If there is a glitch reg. starts late. As it is we leave home about 5:45 am.
In short, 10am start time "works" it just doesn't allow any fudge factor in the morning for us.

I'm not sure how far your players are travelling, but don't forget that in the midwest we have a time switch between Illinois and Indiana.
I know Bluegrass and Next Level games run magic reg until 11 am regularly. This helps them picking up players from the west who are trying to 'catch up' and recover an hour as they drive east to an event.
Not a problem for Chicago events, but definitely a potential problem for people heading to Indy from the west.
